Comedian John Oliver kicked off his weekly HBO series Last Week Tonight on Sunday mentioning the act of terror that went down last week in Paris. The host's comments echoed many that were swirling around the country, and were spoken in a way that certainly made everyone on network news insanely jealous.

The former Daily Show correspondent kicked off the episode noting that before getting to the week's recap, he must indeed mention the attacks that went down in Paris, which ISIS is claiming responsibility for. He stated that it's times such as these where being on a network such as HBO is beneficial because he's able to express himself freely without constraint in, what he called, a moment of "Premium Cable Profanity."

Oliver first noted that not much was known about the attack at the time, but one thing was certain:

"As of now, we know this attack was carried out by gigantic f*cking a$$holes. Unconscionable, flaming a$$holes, possibly working with other a$$holes. Definitely working in service of an ideology of pure a$$holery."

The comedian further noted, with strong enthusiasm, "F*ck these a$$holes!"

Profanity aside, Oliver admitted that he truly feels that nothing the terroristic group attempts to do will work, and France, in the end, will undoubtedly endure.

The terorist attacks in Paris went down this past Friday, killing more than 120 people in a number of different areas throughout the city and injuring approximately 352. Now, CNN reports, a "worldwide manhunt" is occurring, with authorities searching for Salah Abdeslam, a Belgian-born French national, per the publication.

Following the attacks, Saturday Night Live scrapped their usual cold open and delivered a much more low-key, heartfelt one starring key player Cecily Strong. In the segment, Strong spoke in both English and French, assuring the people of Paris that New York City is with them throughout it all.
