'Mr. Robot' Season 2 Spoilers: Christian Slater, Rami Malek, Portia Doubleday NYE Marathon!

Before Mr. Robot Season 2 returns in 2016, the popular USA Network is bringing the first season onto DVD and Blu-Ray. To mark the occasion, Mr. Robot (Christian Slater), Elliot (Rami Malek), and Angela (Portia Doubleday) will have their New Year's Eve Marathon.

In our season finale recap, an Evil Corp executive blew his brains out on live television as FSociety launched its hack attack, eliminating the world's debt and spread its message viral. While Elliot was searching for Tyrell throughout the city, Angela was being seduced by the power and wealth of Evil Corp. Unable to control his hallucinations, Mr. Robot took full control of Elliot and gave him orders to follow.

In the post-credits scene, while someone was knocking on Elliot's door, we discovered the White Rose (B.D. Wong) was playing both sides as he was seen at a gathering for Evil Corp.

According to Deadline, the freshman season of Mr. Robot will be repeated in its entirety. Make sure to check out the 24-hour Mr. Robot Marathon before New Year's Eve. The episodes will re-air beginning at 11 PM on December 29th. The marathon starts with the commercial-free pilot and ends with commercial-free episodes 7-10 . The final three episodes will run from about 7:45-11 PM.

During the cross guild event in Los Angeles, creator/showrunner Sam Esmail also mentioned he is returning to the writing room with his staff, "My prerequisite for hiring these guys was that they were a little off, and not completely stable."

Esmail describes how he found his lead, "I'm listening to all these great actors (during the audition), and what they had wasn't working at all. Then Rami comes in and added this warmth. It changed everything. He added a vulnerability to Elliot. I wanted to hug Elliot and say, 'Don't go away and stop talking.' Rami is a big owner in this character I created."

Mr. Robot will return to USA Network for the second season. Mr. Robot: Season 1 arrives on DVD and Blu-Ray on January 12.
