The annual crossover between Arrow and The Flash is almost upon us, and it's sure to be filled with shocking developments. But could one of those plot points have a lasting impact on Olicity? Some new spoilers indicate that there could be a rough patch ahead for the couple.

Last year's crossover featured a rather signficant development for Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) that occurred during the Flash episode when Team Arrow visited Central City. On his way out of town, Oliver bumped into an old one-night stand from his bachelor days, back when he was a womanizing jerk. He had gotten this woman pregnant, but his mother, Moira Queen, paid off the woman to leave town and never contact Ollie again.

Oliver exchanged pleasantries with the woman in Central City, who got on the phone after Oliver left and told their son that she would be home soon. So yes, Oliver's child is still out there.

Obviously, neither Oliver nor Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) knows about this, but according to some new spoilers from TVLine, this information could blow up in their faces.

"Anything on Arrow? Particularly Oliver and Felicity? -Caryn
This miiiiight affect Oliver and Felicity. 'Member how last season's #Flarrow crossover touched upon the matter of Oliver's son via the young woman Moira years ago sent packing, to Central City? Exec producer Greg Berlanti teases that this year's crossover event, airing Dec. 1 and 2, features a moment 'very akin' to that one."

Now, this moment may not specifically relate to Oliver's child, but it sounds like Olicity is in for a bit of a rough patch.
