Tamar Braxton is finally back on The Real after she was hospitalized a few weeks ago for blood clots. It's been a long journey for Braxton after she was forced to quit Dancing With the Stars this season due to her dangerous illness.

In the clip below, Braxton was excited to be back with the show and her co-hosts, Tamera Mowry Housley, Loni Love, Adrienne Bailon, and Jeannie Mai. Braxton's journey was scary and very serious. The Real educated their viewers on the dangers of blood clots.

It all started back in November when Braxton believed that she was suffering from pneumonia but it turned out to be a more serious medical condition, that was diagnosed as Pulmonary Embolism. Braxton had blood clots in both of her lungs. She also suffered from a condition called Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, which caused pain in her upper body.

It was revealed Wednesday when Braxton returned that she had a rib removed to relieve pressure from her blood clots. Braxton was fine with everyone wanting to ask her questions about her scary medical ordeal, so she brought along her team that helped her get better.

Fans of the show learned a lot on Wednesday when Braxton's doctors gave them information on blood clots. During the episode, the doctors revealed that women who take birth control are at high risk, as well as people who often travel for long periods of time. In Braxton's case she was working and traveling like crazy, flying around the nation on tour and going back to Los Angeles to host The Real and compete in Dancing with the Stars.

Braxton isn't the only one to suffer from blood clots in her family. The singer previously revealed that her husband Vincent Herbert was also hospitalized in 2012.

MStars News is just glad to see Braxton back on the show, and healthy!
