Morrissey has cancelled another performance, but this time it isn't because he has a problem with the food selection. The 53-year-old former Smith's singer has double pneumonia that caused him to cancel a show last week in San Francisco and again tonight (March 14) in Mexico City for the opening night of the Vive Latino Festival. Other bands performing at the music festival are Blur, Underworld, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. The festival runs through March 17.

Morrissey is in the midst of a North American tour which is supposed to resume Monday in Kansas. Morrissey will be making up his San Francisco show May 2 for the tour's final stop. Morrissey will be making stops in Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta, and Dallas along the way. You can get more info at morrissey-solo.com.

It was 25 years ago Morrissey released his first solo album after his break up in 1987 from the band The Smiths. The album, Viva Hate, got as high as number 48 on the charts. However, it did hit number one in the UK.

The outspoken vegetarian has been in the news quite a bit in regards to his battle against meat. First, the singer demanded the Staples Center in Los Angeles go completely meat free for his performance. Then he refused to go on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" after he found out the other guests on that night were going to be the Robertson family from "Duck Dynasty." Morrissey also criticized Beyonce for her choice in handbags and Paul McCartney's relationship with the Royal Family. Basically, who doesn't he have a beef with?

On April 8, EMI will be reissuing the single "The Last of the Famous International Playboys." The single will be reissued along with three other songs recorded live in 2011, "People Are The Same Everywhere," "Action Is My Middle Name" and "The Kid's A Looker."
