The fall finale of The Walking Dead left everyone with many questions about what could happen to Rick Grimes' group after Alexandria gets overrun by walkers. We've listed down five of the most important questions that need to be addressed immediately in the mid-season premiere.

WARNING: SPOILERS from The Walking Dead comic book below:

Where is Paul "Jesus" Monroe?

Viewers might actually be asking, "Who is Paul 'Jesus' Monroe?" The comic book character starts out as a recruiter for Hilltop who eventually helps Rick and his group in the fight against Negan. At one point, he helps Rick escape from the villain by throwing his own life on the line to battle the Saviors until rescue arrives.

Fans already know that Jesus has been cast and has even been spotted on the set of The Walking Dead. In fact, his appearance in the show has even been used by Glenn fans as proof that Steven Yeun's character didn't die at the dumpster.

But when will we find Jesus? There's a good chance that he could finally appear in the second half of the season, but probably not in the premiere. Why? There are more important story arcs to tackle, for instance, the next question.

Will Rick's Group Survive the Walker Horde?

The fall finale ended with a cliffhanger that caused panic among fans of the TV show because of the inevitable slaughter that could happen if the group gets discovered by walkers. However, comic book fans already know the answer.

The scene is very similar to what happens in the comics, where the group covers themselves in zombie guts and holds hands to get past the walkers. At one point, Sam panics and is instantly attacked, which in turn causes Jessie to freak out and get surrounded by walkers. Unfortunately, she refuses to let go of Carl so Rick ends up chopping her hand off and in all the chaos, Carl gets shot in the face.

It does look like Carl is in for an eye-opening experience (pun intended), but before you start doing what Sam did in the finale, consider the next question first.

Will Denise Escape From the Wolves?

Viewers had a huge facepalm moment when Denise, who has been convinced by Morgan to help a wounded Wolf, is taken hostage by the captive. Seriously, Morgan, how could you NOT think this would happen? She may appear as a minor character in the series, but Denise has a huge role in the comic books. In the comics, Rick brings Carl to Denise right after his son gets shot and the surgeon manages to save the dying Carl.

If the show is planning to follow this particular storyline, Denise needs to get away from the Wolves so she can work on Carl's injury. At this point, we think Denise might not be so lucky and The Walking Dead could choose to give Carl a minor injury that someone like Carol or Rick can easily patch up.

Will Glenn be Saved From Lucille?

Now we're getting to the bigger questions, especially the one that involves the recently resurrected Glenn. Fans weren't very happy when Nicholas' corpse dragged Glenn down into the zombie mosh pit and there was a collective sigh of relief when he finally crawled out from under the dumpster. So would the show REALLY want to risk a fan riot by pushing through with that happens in The Walking Dead Issue #100?

In the comic books, Negan introduces himself to Rick's group by committing one of the most senseless and brutal murders with the help of his beloved baseball bat. And yes, as you might have already heard, his first victim is Glenn.

However, the show does have a tendency to change things up a bit so Glenn could survive at least until the end of the season. An even more hopeful prediction (for Glenn fans who can't stand the thought of losing him) is that somebody else will have to meet Lucille.

And now we have come to the most important question about The Walking Dead Season 6.

Who Will be Negan's First Victim?

We won't be counting random walkers or minor characters on this one; the villain's first kill needs to be a major character. This means that we could be seeing the last of our favorite characters this season, whether it is Glenn or Morgan or Maggie or Daryl. But who could it possibly be if Negan won't kill Glenn?

Although it could be anybody's guess, our prediction is Abraham. In the comics, a Savior named Dwight actually shoots the hotheaded soldier with a crossbow. Since a Savior known as "D" has just stolen Daryl's crossbow, there's a huge possibility that he is actually Dwight and the end is near for Abraham.

It would be tragic to lose Abraham now that he has finally come into his own and endeared himself to viewers after transforming from an angry soldier to a valuable member of Rick's group. However, some sacrifices need to be made and the show certainly won't risk a fan riot by killing off Glenn or Daryl.
