Dancing With the Stars lead Witney Carson married her boyfriend Carson McAllister on New Year's Day. The couple, both 22, have been sweethearts since their senior year in high school. The reception included over 100 relatives as well as Carson's former DWTS partners Carlos Penavega, Chris Soules and fellow mirror ball winner Alfonso Ribeiro as well as dance pro Kym Johnson.

According to ET, the three-part religious ceremony was organized by celebrity wedding planner Michael Russo at the NOAH Event Center in Lindon in the Salt Lake City area of Utah.  The bride wore a long-sleeved, high-necked Rivini gown while the bridesmaids, which included Carson's DWTS family Emma Slater, Lindsay ArnoldBrittany Cherry, and Jenna Johnson wore gowns by Amsale. Gigi New York provided the wedding party gifts which included monogrammed clutches for the ladies and wallets for the men.

People reports that the happy couple, who began dating in the 12th grade, have maintained a long term, long distance relationship shortly after graduation. Mcallister went to Romania for two years as part of a mission with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints while Carson competed on Fox's reality dance competition, So You Think You Could Dance. She eventually joined the cast of DWTS while McCallister graduated college and joined his father's business. Their main contact during these periods were e-mails and mailed packages.

"We've been in this limbo where he's in Utah and I'm in L.A. and we haven't been able to create a life together. Now, we get to have a fresh start together. I'm excited. He's my best friend." said Carson who added, "I'm just excited to start our lives together."

"She was my dream girl since 7th grade. But she didn't know I existed until senior year," said McAllister before adding, "We became really close friends and kinda started dating. From the second I got to know her, I could tell she was the most loving and understanding girl I'd ever met. She's my best friend. I can't wait to spend forever with her."

After the wedding Carson posted the following comment on Instagram: "Yesterday was absolutely magical," she shared. "Seriously the best two days of my life! The celebration was so much fun, and I couldn't have asked for better!" She also included a black-and-white photo of her and her husband reading, "Can't believe today is the day!!! Finally get to be with my love forever and all eternity. Can't wait to share with all of you the details."

Of course Carson isn't the only member of DWTS to make headlines with nuptial news. Just a few weeks ago her fellow dance pros Makim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd announced their engagement.  Their wedding date has yet to be released.
