Although Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez was humiliated on live television when she had her Miss Universe crown taken away from her, the model's post-pageant reactions have been humble and calm. But in a new Univision interview, she slammed the Miss Universe pageant for not caring about her feelings.

Miss Colombia is speaking out for the first time on TV, sharing how difficult that moment host Steve Harvey made the ultimate slip-up really was.

Gutierrez revealed that she "cried a ton" that night and shared her distaste of how the whole situation was handled.

“In four minutes they destroy your dreams. They throw it in the bag and they throw it in the trash,” the Miss Universe first runner-up told the Spanish-language network.

“They could've done it another way," she continued. "I feel like it doesn’t matter to them, the feelings of a girl who has worked her whole life for a dream.”

While Gutierrez initially issued a gracious statement saying it was her “destiny” for her to briefly bring joy to her country, but there is clearly still some bitterness with her after the major mishap.

The 22-year-old beauty was all smiles after being named Miss Universe on Dec. 20, 2015, but she was left devastated just minutes later after Harvey announced he had read the wrong winner's name.

The crown was then removed from her head and given to its rightful owner, Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach.

Wurtzbach took to Facebook to express her sympathy for Gutierrez, saying that she is an "amazing woman" and she is excited to see what's ahead for her fellow beauty queen.
