Tom Brady is very particular in the way he conducts his business. For example, he prefers muscular flexibility as opposed to the traditional strength training, and calls just about every human being he encounters, "babe." That particular-ness crosses over to Brady's food life, too. Recently, Allen Campbell, Brady's personal chef, spoke to boston.com and described what the star quarterback for the New England Patriots can, and cannot eat. Come to find out, the cannot section is significantly longer.

"So, 80 percent of what they eat is vegetables," Campbell said, via boston.com. "[I buy] the freshest vegetables. If it's not organic, I don't use it. And whole grains: brown rice, quinoa, millet, beans. The other 20 percent is lean meats: grass-fed organic steak, duck every now and then, and chicken. As for fish, I mostly cook wild salmon."

Campbell met Tom and his wife, Gisele Bundchen, in Florida. At the time Campbell was working solely in hotels and restaurants, and had never before been a personal chef. It was also around that time that Campbell really got into plant-based diets, because "that's where the nutrition is." (Apparently Big Macs and Whoppers don't cut it.) As it were, so were Tom and Gisele. It was a match made in heaven.

"Even from the start, it was just such a great match between what they wanted and my philosophy," said Campbell, via boston.com.

At first, he picked their brain as much as he could about what they were looking for. Then, he simply started making them food. It's been frosted flakes and candy corn ever since. Well, not literally, the Brady's are pretty strict when it comes to stuff like that.

"No white sugar," Campbell began, via boston.com. "No white flour. No MSG. I'll use raw olive oil, but I never cook with olive oil. I only cook with coconut oil. Fats like canola oil turn into trans fats. ... I use Himalayan pink salt as the sodium. I never use iodized salt.

[Tom] doesn't eat nightshades, because they're not anti-inflammatory. So no tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, or eggplants. Tomatoes trickle in every now and then, but just maybe once a month. I'm very cautious about tomatoes. They cause inflammation.

What else? No coffee. No caffeine. No fungus. No dairy."

Campbell did go on to point out that Brady's kids are a little more adventurous, and will in fact eat fruit. Tom, however, not so much. Unless it's a banana in a smoothie.

Oh yeah, one more thing: don't bring up Coca-Cola.
