Michael Sam -- the first openly gay player to be drafted to the NFL -- has refuted claims and "headlines" saying that the defensive linesman is being kept out of the NFL because of his sexuality. Each year, NFL star wide receiver Andre Johnson, of the Houston Texans, brings a number of needy kids on a Toys 'R Us shopping spree. This year, he gave 11 kids from Child Protective Services a total of 80 seconds to grab whatever toys they wanted from the store, with the promise of him taking care of the bill. "Green Lantern" actress Blake Lively is ready to be a mom, and she's looking to her own mother for guidance throughout the process. As Blake and her husband Ryan Reynolds prepare for their first child together, the "Gossip Girl" star is relieved to have such a great role model to look up to. "If I could pass along anything that my mother or my sisters taught me, I feel like my kids will be very well off," Blake told "People" at L'Oréal Paris's ninth annual Women of Worth Awards event Tuesday, Dec. 2. Blake also opened up about more fantastic women who she has chosen to surround herself with throughout her pregnancy and in her daily life. "I'm also fortunate enough to be amongst women like this. The woman tonight who I'm honoring, Brittany Wenger, created this app at 16 years old to help diagnose cancer," she revealed to the publication. "I'm fortunate to come across people like that. And anything that I learn to be able to expose my children to and instill any sort of values or motivation in them, that's exciting." Rumor has it that Tyler Perry welcomed his new bundle of joy into the world over the Thanksgiving holiday. According to Bossip, Perry and his Ethiopian girlfriend Gelila Bekele are expecting a baby boy sometime this fall, and it appears that their son has already been born, around Nov. 30.
