Fans Start Petition To Ensure Matt Smith Leads 'Harry Potter' Spin-Off Movie

Harry Potter and Doctor Who fans are definitely two groups of people that are dedicated to their Sci-Fi, fantasy franchises, but what if the two worlds collided? Well, that could be the case since actor Matt Smith, who portrayed the 11th regeneration of The Doctor on the BBC series is the subject of casting rumors for the upcoming Potter spin-off movie project, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Also penned by author J.K. Rowling, this new project is set as a stand-alone story within the universe of the Potter stories, but with a whole new adventure. Newcomer Kodi Smit-McPhee was recently cast in 2016's X-Men: Apocalypse, but in 2015 we'll get to see how he and costar Michael Fassbender work together in the Western-inspired new film from director Jon Maclean, Slow West. This week, we got a great taste for the film, which has a May 15 release date, thanks to a brand new trailer from the independent film studios Film4, A24 and See-Saw. 'Super Troopers 2' IndieGoGo Campaign Goal Is $2 Million - Released

The guys of Broken Lizard have officially announced its IndieGoGo campaign (after initially stating a Kickstarter would be used) for Super Troopers 2, with a goal of $2 million put in place. 20th Century Fox has announced that it will distribute the film if the goal is met and production is completed.
