I'll be honest; I've never been the biggest James Blake fan. But this performance of his song "Retrograde" on the Late Show with David Letterman is just tops. Slow songs on Letterman tend to flop, as you can just kind of feel the live audience sitting in confused silence, but Blake's haunting, echo-y vocals seemed to fill the space and kept me riveted the whole way through. Kanye West debuted his long-awaited (and heavily scrutinized) track "I Am A God" last night at the Met Gala. The track that was previously thought to be titled "I Am God" (and was at one time confused with the title of Kanye's as-yet unnamed follow-up to My Beautiful, Dark, Twisted Fantasy) was uploaded in snippets via producer A-Trak and model Jamie King's Vine accounts, marking the only time Vine has ever been useful. King's Vine shows the rippity rap verses while A-Trak's clip confirms that it is "I Am A God" that is playing and shows us that Ye's new song will have a lot of screaming. Read More »

Rihanna upset quite a few fans last night when she was three hours late to her show at Boston’s TD Garden. As Rihanna has no opener on this stop her “Diamonds” world tour, fans were forced to stand around for the entirety of the wait. JT revealed that the new album will hit shelves on September 30 via an Instagram pic of himself playing guitar and singing in studio.
