PepsiCo, makers of Mountain Dew, have announced plans to meet with the family of Emmett Till and civil rights activist Rev. Al Sharpton today to discuss the recent controversy over former Dew spokesperson Lil Wayne's insensitive remarks toward Till in his verse on the remix of Future's "Karate Chop." PepsiCo has cut ties with Wayne in light of the controversy and is meeting with the family to address any concerns they may have. Read More »

J. Cole is a master of buzz. As the June 25 release of his sophomore album Born Sinner edges nearer, he's coming up with more and more ways to get people excited. First, he dropped the track "Cole Summer." Then, he dropped a full EP of free music with Truly Yours 2. Now he's got a conceptual web series that documents all of the major influences on Cole's life and by extension, his second album. The Born Sinner web series consists of audio interviews with influential figures for Cole while a black and white slideshow of images plays.
