Looks like rap star Lil Wayne wants the San Francisco Giants to defeat the St. Louis Cardinals in the National League Championship Series (NLCS) - the Cash Money mogul hit the field at San Francisco's AT&T Park Sunday night during Game 6, clad in a Giants jersey and breaking out into an impromptu rendition of the baseball classic "Take Me Out to the Ball Game." Flavor Flav's defense lawyer reports that the former Public Enemy front man plans to fight criminal domestic battery and assault charges that were brought against him after being arrested at his Las Vegas home last week. Pop star Miley Cyrus debuted her guest-star appearance on "Two and a Half Men" last week, and according to co-star Angus T. Jones, Cyrus is one talented actress who's "awesome" to have around on the set. Although 19-year-old Angus admits that the onscreen make-out seshs with Cyrus were a bit "awkward" (especially with the "Party in the U.S.A." songstress' fiancé Liam Hemsworth lurking backstage) he lauds Cyrus as a fun and hilarious girl to have around onset. "Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars" contender Melissa Rycroft experienced a head and neck injury after rehearsing her tango routine with partner Tony Dovolani on Sunday and was immediately rushed to the hospital. According to reports, Rycroft was released from the hospital later Sunday evening and is currently doing fine. The 29-year-old former "Bachelor" reality star and Dallas Cowboys cheerleader is still set to hit the stage on Monday night's episode of "DWTS." Read More »
The NFL is currently investigating claims that the San Diego Chargers cheated during last Monday night's football game (Oct. 15) against the Denver Broncos. According to reports, a Chargers equipment manager ran out onto the field during a timeout with an illegal substance on hand towels that may have allegedly been Stickum, a trademark adhesive of Mueller Sports Medicine that was banned in the NFL in 1981. If the NFL determines the Chargers did use the substance, the team could be fined, suspended, or lose a draft pick. Read More »
Miss Howard Stern Andrea Ownbey was arrested earlier in October and charged with a DUI after she crashed into another car in Hamilton County, Tennessee -now, the 29-year-old blonde bombshell wants to set the record straight. According to Ownbey (deemed Miss Howard Stern since 2002), the three possession charges against her were dropped and all that remains is the DUI. TMZ initially reported that marijuana, a marijuana pipe, and a variety of prescription drugs were found in the vehicle, but according to Ownbey, the only thing she possessed at the time "was legal medication for my head." NACAR star and Go Daddy representative Danica Patrick crashed on lap 155 during Sunday's Sprint Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway - in an attempt to oust competitor Landon Cassill, 30-year-old Patrick ended up burning herself. Patrick managed to finish 32nd in the Hollywood Casino 400 race while Cassill placed 18th - and Patrick let it be known that she wasn't too pleased with that outcome. Read More »
CBS recently announced that actress Jennifer Esposito is taking a temporary leave of absence from her role as Donnie Wahlberg on the hit cop drama "Blue Bloods" - but according to Esposito, the cable network exhibited "shameful behavior" when they broke the news of her sabbatical on Deadline. While the initial CBS announcement didn't insinuate any bad blood between the network and Esposito, the 39-year-old actress released a number of heated tweets in reply, alleging that producers at CBS wouldn't reduce her workload even after doctors told her to "take it easy" onset since she is currently battling Celiac disease. According to Esposito, CBS accused her of using the "illness" excuse as a scam to try and get a pay raise.
