Eighty Boston College students, including members of its men's basketball team, got sick after eating at a local Chipotle, according to CNN. Bennet Omalu has proposed a radical idea for sports--football, specifically. In an op-ed published for the New York Times, the forensic pathologist lobbied for an age limit to be put on kids playing the sport--much like the restrictions on cigarettes, alcohol, and consenting for sex. Kerem Demirbay, player for Fortuna Dusseldorf in Germany's second division of football, recently made sexist comments toward a referee after he was issued a second yellow card--which resulted in him ejected from the game. The Calgary Hitmen, a team in the Western Hockey League, hold an annual "Teddy Toss" every December. It goes as follows: fans bring a Teddy Bear as a complimentary plus one--Fans throw their complimentary plus one onto the ice after the home team scores its first goal. Typically, the Hitmen can expect up to 20,000 plus ones. However, this was no ordinary year. It was the best year.
