Estee Lauder's Plan to Compete With Korean Skincare Competitor

Estee Lauder reported flat revenue for the first quarter of 2015, which ended September 30, with net sales coming in at $2.63 billion relative to last year's $2.68 billion. Foreseeing a number of challenges in the coming months, the company also cut its guidance for the full fiscal year. Michael Kors has debuted a new, cutting-edge line of very fashionable tech accessories, including phone-charging cases, earbuds and portable chargers designed to resemble lipstick and compact cases, with prices ranging from $59 to $140. "They live full lives, and they need their phones to work from morning until night, breakfast to boardroom, on business trips and vacation."
