Estee Lauder reported flat revenue for the first quarter of 2015, which ended September 30, with net sales coming in at $2.63 billion relative to last year's $2.68 billion. Foreseeing a number of challenges in the coming months, the company also cut its guidance for the full fiscal year. This year's batch of Gap holiday ads start running on Nov. 3. Gap's new campaign, created by Wieden + Kennedy and directed by Sofia Coppola, does not feature your typical traditional holiday commercials. Instead of surprise gifts and choreographed snow-angel sessions, Gap will feature real things that real people do during the holidays, like "going to a bar, getting annoyed by relatives and enduring an off-putting performance by a kid they're apparently related to." Michael Kors has debuted a new, cutting-edge line of very fashionable tech accessories, including phone-charging cases, earbuds and portable chargers designed to resemble lipstick and compact cases, with prices ranging from $59 to $140. "The men and women who I design for are constantly on the go," Kors told "WWD." "They live full lives, and they need their phones to work from morning until night, breakfast to boardroom, on business trips and vacation." Like Tory Burch, Ralph Lauren and Burberry, among others, Michael Kors is taking his tech accessories game to the next level.
