Well the biggest casting rumor about the J.J. Abrams-directed Star Wars: Episode VII movie has officially been dropped: Ryan Gosling has reportedly read for the part of Luke Skywalker's son in the new sequel. This is clearly just a rumor, but with production of the film starting in early 2014, casting is definitely going to be going down soon. Another name rumored to have read for a part is Zac Efron, though his role is still a mystery. The members of One Direction dressed up as different characters for their new music for the single "Best Song Ever" and they definitely turned some heads. Though Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Niall Horan were all pretty funny as different characters, it was Zayn Malik who stood out. As of this weekend, The Avengers 2 has officially received the title The Avengers: Age of Ultron according to a Marvel panel during the 2013 San Diego Comic Con. The panel answered plenty of questions around the other movies in the works that are under the company's production umbrella, but Avengers news is usually the biggest. Hitting theaters in 2015, The Avengers: Age of Ultron is hoping to capitalize on the first film's success (third highest grossing film of all time), but there are plenty of questions surrounding this sequel. Fiona Apple's incredible album The Idler Wheel... came out in 2012, but today we are treated to a music video for the track "Hot Knife." A simple song - complete with brief piano riffs but layered with vocal rounds and harmonies all over a timpani drum - Apple enlisted her former boyfriend to make the music video for the track. Director Paul Thomas Anderson and Apple dated for a few years starting in the late 1990s when they were both at the height of their careers. It looks like Kate Middleton is making up for how long she made us all wait for her to give birth to her first child! Within 2 days of delivering her son with Prince William, we have learned that the future King of England has been named and will now be referred to as His Royal Highness Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge. Although Comic Con 2013 was a huge hit in terms of revealing more details for the 50th anniversary special of BBC's "Doctor Who," fans who were not in attendance for the show's panel are irate over not being able to see the trailer for the special. In fact, it looks like it might be a while before it is available online, according to the BBC. Plus, the British show premiered the trailer in San Diego, so U.K. fans are very mad! Alfonso Cuaron's Gravity is one of this year's most highly anticipated films coming out. Star Sandra Bullock and George Clooney take on the vastness of space as astronauts taking part in a routine spacewalk that goes terribly wrong. Footage of Gravity shown at the 2013 San Diego Comic Con this weekend blew the crowd away and today we get to see some of that footage in a new trailer entitled "Detached." The sixth season of NBC's hit comedy "Parks and Recreation" has just added a special guest star to its September 26 premiere and possibly some future episodes as well. Henry Winkler, best known for his "Happy Days" character Fonzie, has singed on to play the father of Ben Schwartz's character, Jean-Ralphio. Fans of the show will also note that Jean-Ralphio's twin sister Mona-Lisa, played by Jenny Slate, joined the cast last season, so it will definitely be interesting to see the man who came up with the names of these crazy people. Former "All That" actress and recent Twitter meltdown subject Amanda Bynes has been placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold after setting fire to a stranger's driveway earlier this week. 5150 is a California welfare code used "when any person, as a result of mental disorder, is a danger to others, or to himself or herself, or gravely disabled." The 27-year-old aspiring musician also reportedly doused her pet Pomeranian with gasoline in the process, thus putting the little pup's life in danger, according to TMZ. Read More »
Just one day after giving birth to the future King of England, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge brought their royal son home. While posing for the hoard of cameras and answering some brief questions outside of the Lindo Wing at St. Mary's hospital in London, Prince William revealed that they have yet to give the newborn Prince of Cambridge a name. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge just walked out of the Lindo Wing at St. Mary's hospital to give all of the media correspondences as well as the adoring public the first glimpse at the royal baby boy. "We're still working on a name," Prince William told reporters, ensuring us that it is in the works. When asked about how much hair his son had, William responded, "Way more than me, thank God."
