The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies is the third and final film in Peter Jackson's latest J.R.R. Tolkien movie franchise, and fans can't wait for the last chapter! This past weekend saw the premiere of the highly anticipated horror movie, Annabelle, which is a spinoff of The Conjuring. A terrifying movie about a possessed doll terrorizing a family, one can't help but think of Chucky from the Child's Play franchise. It looks like that gum we like truly is coming back in style after cryptic Twitter posts from David Lynch and Mark Frost. Twin Peaks is officially returning to television for season 3, with 9 episodes directed by Lynch for Showtime! The creator made announcement via his social media accounts with a video. The upcoming Deadpool movie - which officially got off the ground and received a winter 2016 release date from Fox after this summer's "leaked" test footage became a viral hit - will have direct links to the X-Men movies from 20th Century Fox. This might not be too much of a surprise, considering the character (played by Ryan Reynolds) appeared in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, but now it's official that these films will all reside in the same universe. Adventure Time is a trippy little cartoon that grew into something much bigger, encompassing multiple industries outside of Cartoon Network, including merchandising and publishing. Considering all of the craziness around the show, creator Pendleton Ward stepped down during season 5 as showrunner, without many people even knowing. Disney has officially cancelled Tiny Death Star; a Star Wars inspired mobile video game developed by Tiny Tower creator Nimblebit. Unfortunately for Nimblebit, the removal of this game from the app store and Google Play came as a surprise. In a new interview with Pocket Gamer, Ian Marsh of Nimblebit rationalized Disney and Lucasfilm's probable reasons for dropping the game and revealed that the cancellation "stings." Read More »
