Writer J.K. Rowling is sharing 12 new stories based on popular Harry Potter characters from her magical wizarding world leading up to Christmas 2014. From Dec. 12 to Dec. 23, fans of the novelist can enjoy brand new material from Rowling, with some familiar characters, all published to the Potter fan website, Pottermore. Robert Orci Is Not Directing 'Star Trek 3' - Is Edgar Wright Replacing Him?

Acclaimed writer and producer Roberto Orci was about to take over the director's chair for the yet-to-be titled Star Trek 3 movie, but this week we learned that he didn't get the job. Reports aren't clear as to whether or not he turned down the job, or something else happened, but for now the Into Darkness scribe is remaining as a producer for the popular Star trek reboot movie franchise, which Orci helped start with director J.J. Ryan Reynolds Shares 'Deadpool' Movie Twitter Photo

Ryan Reynolds has been trying to make a Deadpool standalone movie for quite some time now. Over the summer, reactions to "leaked" test footage of Blake Lively's husband performing a motion-capture portrayal of the Marvel Comics antihero definitely helped studio heads at Fox want to move forward with the film. Since then, we've heard updates about a release date in 2016, director Tim Miller signing on to helm the project, and even a PG-13 rating coming into play.
