The 2012 comic book movie adaptation Dredd has plenty of fans, but not the type of Hollywood fans you need to make a sequel. According to screenwriter Alex Garland, the widely talked about Dredd 2 project is highly unlikely to happen at this point, and that's pretty disparaging - especially because Garland revealed some awesome plot details and ideas for new Dredd movies! The screenwriter (and first time director of the 2015 film Ex Machina) explained that the turn-around on the film wasn't enough and that any sequels would need much more money to make, so they probably won't get made! 2015 marks the 10th anniversary of the BBC's rebooted Doctor Who time-traveling adventure series- but what if this was the final year of the season? According to Russell T. Davies, former showrunner and the man responsible for the reboot, it's impossible for the show to be pulled off of the air. Google released its top search terms for YouTube videos of 2014, and two of the top 9 subjects were video games, with Minecraft coming in second overall. Ryan Reynolds' highly anticipated Deadpool movie has come quite the way since the leaked test footage of the actor in motion capture action basically made 20th Century Fox green-light the project.
