Cleveland Browns fans are ready for 2012 Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel to take over for Brian Hoyer, who has struggled mightily after a hot start, according to "USA Today." Browns head coach Mike Pettine named Hoyer the starter of the rookie Manziel at the start of the season. Manziel was already one of the most famous and popular football players in the country after an illustrious career at Texas A&M earned him the nickname "Johnny Football." But Hoyer performed well, leading the Browns to a 6-3 start before the wheels began to fall apart. Cleveland is now 1-3 in its last four games, and ESPN reports that Hoyer has led the Browns to just one touchdown drive in his last 29 series. With pressure mounting to make a change, Pettine stuck with Hoyer Sunday, Dec. 7, against the Indianapolis Colts. He went just 14 for 31 for 140 yards, throwing two interceptions. The game was only close because Cleveland's defense put up 14 points. Read More »
Tony Romo has had an elite-level NFL season, but he's finally starting to admit that he's hurting worse than many believed, which could lead to the return of Brandon Weeden, which many Dallas Cowboys fans would be unhappy with. Perhaps DeMarco Murray's strong running game has allowed Romo to rest more than many QB would get to, and that might be the main reason he's still in the team. With the big aspirations the Cowboys carry, can they depend on the injury-hit Romo? Read More »
They say the QB is the leader of an NFL team - not so. DeMarco Murray has proven the perfect leader for the Dallas Cowboys, perhaps making Tony Romo appear a far better player in the process. Murray has improved with every week, and now his Cowboys have a winning record for the first time in a long, long while. With his game-changing performances, the Cowboys believe they could go all the way. Is Murray the best RB in NFL history, or at the very least, does he have the potential to be just that? Read More »
Joe Haden, Josh Gordon and Johnny Manziel are hoping to fire the Cleveland Browns to the NFL playoffs, along with help with Brian Hoyer, but they didn't need the starting QB help when they all helped to open up Haden's new sneaker store. The store is downtown Cleveland and it has been a huge hit for superstars and fans alike. The question is, will they come together on the field, as well as off it? Read More »

The Cleveland Browns will welcome the Indianapolis Colts to town, but one man comes back knowing that the last time he left it wasn't willingly. Trent Richardson was supposed to be the superstar RB the Browns needed, but it's safe to say he didn't hit the ground running, leaving many people unimpressed. However, a little over a year ago the NFL was in shock when he was traded to the Colts, for a first-round draft pick (later used to get Justin Gilbert and Johnny Manziel). However, now he returns with a point to prove, claiming he will put his "body on the line" to prove his worth, and to get the win his Colts need. Will the Browns stop the bitter Richardson, or will he fall short once again in Cleveland? Read More »
Drake and LeBron James will be angry, as despite their best efforts, they couldn't convince Mike Pettine to bench Brian Hoyer in favour of Johnny Manziel, who they're both good friends with. Pettine has angered many fans of the Cleveland Browns and a Hip Hop and NBA icon, all with one move, so Hoyer had better prove his worth in their upcoming NFL clash against the Indianapolis Colts. Will Pettine regret upsetting Drake and James, and could this prompt a Manziel trade? Read More »
If anybody thought Brian Hoyer was going to go quietly after his benching, they thought wrong. The Cleveland Browns' QB has come out all guns blazing, verbally attacking Johnny Manziel, LeBron James and the NFL, and of course his team. Hoyer believes he should still be the starter, despite his recent slip of form, and he's not happy that he's been benched. James, the star player for the Cleveland Cavaliers, has also insisted that Manziel is "ready" to start. Just when it seems like the world wants Johnny, Brian's done himself no favours at all. What move will the Browns make? Read More »
It all started with a quarterback fake, a drive into the endzone, and then the famous 'money' gesture. When Cleveland Browns backup quarterback Johnny Manziel - Johnny Football, as we're so often reminded - scored a touchdown on his first NFL drive after replacing starter Brian Hoyer, it made Browns coach Mike Pettine's choice all the easier as to who would start this week against Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts. It helps that Manziel is claiming his veteran Cleveland teammates "rallied around" him during their 26-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills. Read More »
The Cleveland Browns are enjoying one of their best NFL seasons since their 1999 return, but that doesn't mean everything is perfect, particularly in the mind of their management. Jordan Cameron, Johnny Manziel and Josh Gordon were tipped to be the stars that led the Browns to astonishing things this season, but strangely, they've done just that, astonish the NFL, but without the help of this trio. The Browns will face the Buffalo Bills this weekend, and whether they win or lose, they could well trade these three stars, but for very different reasons. Should they save money and stockpile picks, particularly if they continue to win games without much impact from these stars? Read More »
Cleveland Browns star backup quarterback, Johnny Manziel, has revealed the details behind the alleged "brawl" that he was involved in at an up-market building in Cleveland last weekend, saying he and his roommate were simply trying to defuse a tense situation before it escalated "at all costs". The Washington Redskins thought they had it all figured out. They had the young, talented Robert Griffin III, Colt McCoy and Kirk Cousins, and despite reports suggesting they believe in RG3, there's now rumblings from within their camp, that they don't see him in their future plans. The Redskins are likely to let Colt finish the season before trading Robert, and quite possibly the other two QB. They are then hoping to redefine their QB position, trying to draft UCLA NCAA QB, Brett Hundley, as well as trying to lure (possible) free agent Brian Hoyer from the Cleveland Browns. It looks highly unlikely that RGIII will be a Redskin next year, but who will trade for him, and just how big of a loss will they take compared to the draft picks they gave to draft him? Read More »
Calvin Johnson has battled injuries throughout this season, and his career for that matter, but he's back, fit, and raring to go. He helped his Detroit Lions to beat the Chicago Bears in their stunning Thanksgiving game. Rumours suggested the Lions would trade their star WR soon, but he seems set to stay after a recent return to form. After his game-changing performance, he insisted he'd be eating some turkey with his family, and then it's back to football, where he and his teammates Matthew Stafford and Ndamukong Suhare hoping to dominate the NFL and then go on to win the Super Bowl.
