Just last week, the Seinfeld star shared a Single Shot video – you know, the “Grow A Pair” clip – just after his NBC series co-creator, and Curb Your Enthusiasm star, Larry David gave an in-depth interview on the Howard Stern Show for his new Broadway play Fish in the Dark. Today, however, it appears the veteran comedian is present at the Detroit Auto Show with Acura, who sponsors his famed web series. Season 5 of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee is finished, yes, but that doesn't mean Jerry Seinfeld stops bringing the funny to his CCC audience. The famed comedian just dropped a new video from his uber successful web series, a scaled down version that clips together numerous snippets from various seasons into what he calls a "Single Shot" –– you know, like the coffee. Anyway, this newest one brings in the likes of Daily Show host Jon Stewart, comedian Amy Schumer and Howard Stern. The latter of which comes fresh off his interview with Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm creator Larry David. It looks like Seinfeld-a-holics may be getting into the medical profession, because it’s being reported that a class at New Jersey’s Rutgers University allows medical students to watch the famed NBC comedy from Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David in order to learn about psychiatry. Who knew that for nine brilliant season not only were we getting some of the best comedy that television has ever offered, but we were also getting a Ph. D in psychiatry. Wonder if this will come up on next season of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee? Since the famed comic just ended his Season 5 (with guest star Jimmy Fallon) it seems we’ll have to wait and see! Many would merely cut it down to something as vague as “someone who tells jokes” – but if you ask Jerry Seinfeld and a number of his funny friends, it appears there’s so much more involved. The veteran comic recently put together a small group of clips to release his newest Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee Single Shot “What Is A Comedian?” to try and answer the question. Happy Festivus, people! As the holiday made popular by the folks over at Seinfeld and Frank Costanza (played hilariously by Jerry Stiller), Festivus has become an uber popular holiday over the years! Of course, not the whole crowding-around-a-pole thing, but at least the airing of the grievances. Jerry Seinfeld is certainly ending Season 5 of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee with a bang. The veteran comic aired a two-part episode of his web series with Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon earlier today. In the video, the two comedians cruise around in an old vet and head on out to the water before grabbing themselves some coffee and pancakes in Long Island. Hilariously enough, most of Part 1 was just Seinfeld trying to get his boat off of his Land Rover. Which he did, we might add. The two-parters comes after hilarious episodes that include Portlandia star Fred Armisen, the ever so funny stand up Kevin Hart, YouTube personality Miranda Sings and a number of others. Read More »
