It’s hard to believe it but Season 5 of Jerry Seinfeld’ Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee is coming to a close this Thursday, Dec. 18 at 12 p.m. EST. But don’t be too sad; this season is surely going out with a bang! Having already delivered an entertaining season, this last episode proves to be no different – actually, perhaps it’s “the best episode yet” – because Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon is stepping in to end out the season. Together with Seinfeld, the two comics succeed in getting “weird” not only in the car but also on a boat. Will this be better than Portlandia star Fred Armisen’s tour around Portland or Breaking Bad’s Bill Burr’s sit down at a cigar shop? Looks like we’ll just have to wait and see! Read More »
A new Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee dropped today, which means that we must be towards the end of the week! In this newest episode – which follows the likes of Fred Armisen, Kevin Hart and stand up Bill Burr – comic Jerry Seinfeld introduces “Waspy Week” with guest Ali Wentworth, who was the lead in the Starz series Head Case. The two have been friends for years – Seinfeld and his wife often hang with Wentworth and her husband, ABC’s George Stephanopoulos. And while not perhaps as big a name as the Seinfeld star, Wentworth surely is a comedic personality worthy of nabbing a spot on the CCC lineup. In this week's episode, the wife of ABC's George Stephanopoulos joins the Bee Movie lead and creator for a day of wasp-i-ness. Keeping true to his schedule, comedian Jerry Seinfeld just dropped a new episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee earlier today with guest Fred Armisen. The Portlandia star showed the vet Seinfeld lead around the city he loves so dearly (so much so that he created a series about it with Sleater-Kinney lead Carrie Brownstein), Portland. Season 5 of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee continued earlier today with a new episode from veteran comic Jerry Seinfeld. In this episode, the Seinfeld star invited in funnyman Bill Burr. Kicking off by picking the Boston comedian up in a Ford Mustang (apparently Burr is a Ford-guy) the two then headed on over to the Novel Café for some coffee and conversations about the NFL domestic violence scandals, his appearance on Breaking Bad and the Chappelle’s Show and his thoughts on the social media in today’s world… including Facebook and Twitter.
