Well, Christmas is quickly approaching. To celebrate, comedian Ellen Degeneres has begun her 12 Days of Giveaways on her hit show Ellen. Unfortunately, what that means for people like CONAN host Conan O’Brien is that whatever he does for his audience, if anything, doesn’t quite match the superb ridiculousness of Ellen’s ability to make her audience go absolutely ballistic. And since the two shows are both show on the same Warner Bros. lot over in Burbank, California, O’Brien certainly feels the wrath and aftermath of Ellen’s Christmas 2014 gift giveaway. If you filled your evening with some CONAN last night then you met easily one of the top sketches of the week: Christopher Walken calling in DURING his performance as Captain James Hook on NBC’s special, Peter Pan Live. It seems that while Allison Williams was off playing the role of a boy who never wanted to grow up, Walken was apparently delirious, having no clue as to where he was and why he was there. Could "Glitter & Ribs" be 2015's first Top 10 hit for Taylor Swift? The pop superstar has a new song to record and, while it might not be on her hit 2014 album "1989," it was written for Tay-Tay specially by "Billy on the Street" host Billy Eichner ... and judging from the video below, it sounds perfect for the "Shake It Off" star. The only thing it needs is perhaps a mention of a 2015 dating rumor or taking down an ex-boyfriend like Ed Sheeran or Harry Styles. As Billy tells Conan, the song centers around the most perplexing and confusing aspect of relationships: "Taylor Swift is writing about the most important topic, which is what happens when your boyfriend doesn't text you back, and I think that's so essential, Conan!" As "Jezebel" points out, "Glitter & Ribs" "fits perfectly into her signature girl-meets-boy narrative," considering it contains lyrical gems like: "He was a boy / I was a girl / What more do you need to know? / He was a boy, he walked through the door / He was a door-walking-through boy" and "You'll never know my heart like my heart knows my heart." Well, it’s Black Friday and that can only mean one thing – the day for comedian Jimmy Pardo and his podcast Never Not Funny’s six annual 13-hour long Pardcast-a-Thon has finally arrived! If you’re a fan of the podcast Keith and The Girl, then you’re well aware of the fact that the show is approaching its ten-year anniversary. No, Arrested Development stars Will Arnett and Jason Bateman are NOT gay and they are NOT dating, but it sure was a hilarious bit during last night’s episode of CONAN. While promoting his upcoming film Horrible Bosses 2 alongside It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star Charlie Day and former SNL player Jason Sudeikis, Bateman shared with host Conan O’Brien a little (fake) secret: he and Will Arnett are dating! During last night’s episode of CONAN, host Conan O’Brien invited his friend and co-worker Jimmy Pardo to the couch – following a segment from The Homesman star Hilary Swank – to discuss not only his days in stand up days but also his upcoming 12-hour long telethon to benefit the charity Smile Train. The 6th annual event, titled Pardcast-a-Thon, houses Pardo and his Never Not Funny podcast crew – including co-host Matt Belknap, the “third chair” Pat Francis, intern Garon Cockrell, and videographer Eliot Hochberg – and a round up of guests every half-hour, resulting in over 12 hours of comedy, which is live-streamed online. Comedian Marc Maron has been in New York as of late to promote his New York Comedy Festival appearance. In doing so, he stopped by Huffington Post’s HuffPost Live to chat up the spot, his IFC series Maron, his podcast WTF with Marc Maron and then some – like that whole situation between current CONAN host Conan O’Brien and the former Tonight Show host Jay Leno. Fresh off the birth of his baby girl alongside actress Mila Kunis, Two and a Half Men star Charl— oh, wait, Ashton Kutcher stopped by TBS’ CONAN last night to promote the upcoming final season of the CBS hit, which will begin Season 12 tomorrow, Thursday, Oct. 30. During his segment, Kutcher talked up being a new dad and his plans for daughter Wyatt’s first Halloween. Oh, and he also slammed Charlie Sheen, calling him a Charlie Brown character. Read More »
