As most of you probably already know, Daft Punk's album was officially released for streaming purposes today on iTunes (if you didn't I'll provide the link below). However, the official album in its physical (or more than likely downloadable) form won't be here until May 21 and there's hype to be built. Daft Punk's new single "Get Lucky" featuring Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers has been immensely popular and successful for the French duo. The band's first album since 2005's Human After All will be Random Access Memories. This is not counting 2010's "Tron: Legacy" soundtrack of course. The band's single is already breaking records leading up the the May 20 release of Random Access Memories. In case you didn't already know, people really seem to like Daft Punk's "Get Lucky." The first single off of their new album Random Access Memories snatched the world's attention via a teaser clip on SNL and hasn't let go ever since. The amount of remixes and covers the song has spawned more than validate its cultural relevancy, however, fans have expressed their feelings for the song in a much more important way: via their wallets. Daft Punk fans are nothing if not crafty. After the "Get Lucky" trailer was released countless bogus fan-made leaks surfaced (many were just loops of the audio from the teaser but the fake put together by SONiC 102.9 in Edmonton had verses and everything). Now that we have heard the full track for real for real, Daft fans are moving on to the next step: creating their own music videos.
