One might think that Daily Show host Jon Stewart enjoys discussing politics. And while it’s true he very well may, his opinion of the ones he’s reporting on is rather dour (but true). Over the weekend, the comedian sat down with CBS’ Sunday Morning correspondent Mo Rocca – who was a once-upon-a-time correspondent at the Daily Show – and told them that he believes politicians are “salespeople” – citing a number of interviews he’s conducted in the past. Earlier this month, MStars News reported that following David Gregory’s firing from NBC’s Sunday morning political roundtable chat show Meet the Press, the network supposedly approached Daily Show lead Jon Stewart to fill the host seat before Chuck Todd. Recently, it was announced that the Koch brothers purchased some advertising space on The Daily Show, which Stewart brought to light on last night’s episode.
