Although Vin Diesel pretty much announced earlier this year that he would portray the comic book character Groot in the 2014 movie Guardians of the Galaxy, it was never officially confirmed by Marvel until this week. So we can finally say that the Fast and Furious star will officially portray a humanoid tree being that only says one thing in an entire comic book series: "I am Groot!"
