The magazine then makes it clear that Alabama's WR Amari Cooper doesn't get its vote; that goes to Mariota. However, the people have spoken and they chose Cooper to win the Heisman Trophy, according to the same poll. Read More »

Cleveland Browns fans are ready for 2012 Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel to take over for Brian Hoyer, who has struggled mightily after a hot start, according to "USA Today." Browns head coach Mike Pettine named Hoyer the starter of the rookie Manziel at the start of the season. Manziel was already one of the most famous and popular football players in the country after an illustrious career at Texas A&M earned him the nickname "Johnny Football." But Hoyer performed well, leading the Browns to a 6-3 start before the wheels began to fall apart. Cleveland is now 1-3 in its last four games, and ESPN reports that Hoyer has led the Browns to just one touchdown drive in his last 29 series. With pressure mounting to make a change, Pettine stuck with Hoyer Sunday, Dec. 7, against the Indianapolis Colts. He went just 14 for 31 for 140 yards, throwing two interceptions. The game was only close because Cleveland's defense put up 14 points. Read More »

J.T. has been more than impressive, and in today's game he broke three of Miller's records. A huge QB feud and rivalry has developed, with fans now preferring Barrett, but some wanting the return of Miller. Of course, Miller did nothing wrong, so should he lose his starting job next season? On top of that, the new QB on the block has thrown himself in to Heisman Trophy contention. The Buckeyes might just have two of the best, but which is the better quarterback? Coach Urban Meyer had plenty to say, according to ESPN, but which QB does he prefer? Read More »
If Jameis Winston had little attitude, it's clear his stock would match the ones held by Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III, however, with his "I'm too good for life" persona, there's a legitimate chance of his stock falling faster than the fall from grace that the likes of Johnny Manziel and Tim Tebow suffered. The Florida State QB is a Heisman Trophy winner, yet he might be on the brink of becoming 'undraftable' in the 2015 NFL draft, with an agent hitting out at the 'cocky' star. Can Winston save his career before it's began, or is he as good as done? Read More »
If a player is compared to Johnny Manziel, one would wonder whether it was a comparison to the good or the bad of the troubled QB. The star caused mayhem, and sold autographs, during his Texas A&M NCAA days, and it seems Georgia's RB Todd Gurley has followed in his footsteps. Despite a rumored season-long suspension, he has Manziel's backing, but will this hamper his Heisman Trophy and NFL dreams? Read More »

NCAA players like Johnny Manziel are long gone, and the attention is all on the likes of Kenny Hill and Todd Gurley, who have helped Texas A&M and the Georgia Bulldogs get off to an impressive start to their college football season.
