ASAP Rocky is the latest to respond to Kendrick Lamar's verse on "Control" without writing an actual song. Rocky, who is mentioned directly by K-Dot, says that Kendrick is "smoking crack" if he thinks he can claim the title of King Of New York. ASAP Ferg throws out a reference to "No Church in the Wild"/ his new album Trap Lord asking "What's a King to a Lord?" (the answer is, of course, an overlord. Ferg didn't think that through). By now you probably know that Kendrick Lamar dissed and called out a ton of rappers in his recent verse in Big Sean's song "Control." He even called out Big Sean and Jay Electronica, who was also featured on the song. A ton of rappers have also been responding to the diss verse with freestyles and Twitter posts. One rapper he definitely didn't call out was RiFF RAFF, but he still posted his reaction anyway. It's almost been a year since Eminem hinted that he'd be coming out with a new album in 2013... and STILL no official details surrounding the rapper's eighth studio record have been released. The only guy willing to (somewhat) pacify anxious fans - Slim Shady's hype-man and former D12 band mate, Mr. Porter. Will a Kendrick Lamar collaboration appear on this mysterious album? Maybe... Technically, "Control" is Big Sean's new track off of his upcoming release, "Hall of Fame, " but the song is getting a lot of buzz for a guest track by Kendrick Lamar. The young rapper has literally stolen this song in just one verse and that was his intentions if you pay attention to the lyrics.
