Miami Heat, Houston Rockets, Dallas Mavericks, LA Clippers Favorites To Sign Josh Smith- Friends Rondo & Howard Recruiting Dumped Pistons Forward

By Jaymz Clements | Dec 23, 2014 12:12 PM EST

The Miami Heat, Houston Rockets, Dallas Mavericks, L.A. Clippers, Sacramento Kings and Memphis Grizzlies are all jostling to sign dumped Detroit Pistons star Josh Smith after the forward was stunningly waived by his former team yesterday with $26 million remaining on his contract. Smith will clear waivers Wednesday and reportedly the Rockets — with Smith's good friend Dwight Howard leading the charge — are the frontrunners to sign the former star and current wayward walking inefficiency. Pistons Star Josh Smith Dumped: Kings, Knicks, LA Clippers, Rockets, Mavericks Interested In Mercurial Forward: Joining Dwight Howard, Chris Paul Or Rajon Rondo?

By Jaymz Clements | Dec 22, 2014 02:08 PM EST

The Detroit Pistons have waived Josh Smith, with $26 million still remaining on the contract star forward signed with the NBA team last year (which the Pistons still have to pay). Pistons Head Coach and President of Basketball Operations Stan Van Gundy told Smith the news this morning in a meeting, and early indications are that the L.A. Clippers, Houston Rockets, Sacramento Kings and Dallas Mavericks are interested in picking up the 6 ' 9" combo forward. Even it's a move to free up space for star center Andre Drummond, power forward Greg Monroe, similarly under-performing point guard Brandon Jennings and second-year guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, simply waiving Smith a remarkable move. The Pistons have reportedly tried to trade Smith, but in choosing to waive him, they still have to pay his contract. Read More »

Justin Bieber, New England Patriots Celebrate L.A. Clippers Win Over Minnesota Timberwolves [WATCH]

By Jaymz Clements | Dec 02, 2014 11:24 AM EST

Justin Bieber and Rob Gronkowski added some star power to the Los Angeles Clippers's locker room last night, Dec. 1, with the pair hanging out and joking around with Clippers superstars Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan and Chris Paul in L.A. after an impressive win. But does that mean the Pats's NFL season is sunk? The pop superstar — who has attended numerous Clippers games this year, what with the L.A. Lakers being terrible, and the star New England Patriots tight end, along with some of his other Pats teammates, including running back Jonas Gray — headed to the Staples Center locker room after the Clippers's 127-101 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves to celebrate and take photos with Clips players. As ESPN reported, Gronkowski and his teammates — who lost to Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers 26-21 over the weekend — were "taking advantage of some time off in California" before the Patriots take on the San Diego Chargers this Sunday. NBA Trade In The Works: Kevin Love & Blake Griffin

By Kenneth Brown | Nov 13, 2014 10:48 AM EST

Blake Griffin looks set to get in to huge trouble for allegedly assaulting somebody in club. Could the LA Clippers give up on the star, allowing for him to leave? If so, would Chris Paul remain, or would he want to move to the Cleveland Cavaliers, or even the Boston Celtics? There has been a lot of NBA trade rumours, suggesting that Kevin Love of the Cavs would love to move to the LA Lakers, but could he move to the Clippers instead? If any trade was to be finalized, expect Rajon Rondo of the Celtic to be involved to make it financially possible. Which player should go where, or will they all stay with their current teams? Can Music Stars Save Kobe Bryant's L.A. Lakers?

By Kenneth Brown | Nov 01, 2014 06:54 PM EDT

Blake Griffin's LA Clippers beat the LA Lakers, confirming that they are now the NBA kings of Los Angeles, and it appears their superstars, and some music stars, just aren't happy about their poor start to the 2014-15 season. Lil Romeo has insisted that he and Chris Brown are both good enough basketball players, that they could restore some credibility to Kobe Bryant's team, but could the struggling franchise give them a shot to prove their worth? Bryant is frustrated, and at this point, who knows what he will want and not want for his team. Read More »

Blake Griffin Facing Jail Time?

By Kenneth Brown | Oct 22, 2014 01:37 PM EDT

Blake Griffin has for a long while been seen as fundamental to the Los Angeles Clippers and their NBA championship dreams that they harbour, but that might soon change. The Clippers' center was recently out partying in a night club, with recent allegations emrging, suggesting that he assaulted a 39-year-old man over a cell phone. Now rumours are suggesting the Clippers are fed up of his attitude, and if he avoids a jail sentence, they may just trade him, and quite possibly for Rajon Rondo of the Boston Celtics, or another equally big-named player. Chris Paul, Blake Griffin Toughen Up Los Angles Clippers' Rookies Ahead Of 2014/15 NBA Season

By Kenneth Brown | Oct 20, 2014 12:52 PM EDT

The Los Angles Clippers are a heavy favourite to win the NBA championship in the 2014/15 season, and it seems they're readying their rookies with some harmless hazing. Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and many other Clippers stars took rookie C.J. Wilcox to a night club, and they forced him to dance while the majority of their roster watched on, laughing at him. He might well of felt alone for that minute, but the Clippers evidently believe that bonding will bring them together on the court, which could better their title chances. Read More »
