Giambattista Valli just announced his collaboration with MAC Cosmetics. In honor of the French fashion house's 10th anniversary, Valli is bringing his love for all things floral to lipstick in the form of five garden shades that have names like mandarin and peony. American designer Prabal Gurung launched his first beauty collaboration with MAC Cosmetics. Gurung chose Paris during Haute Couture Fashion Week to introduce his new project in July. The Singapore-born, Nepal-bred designer launched his eponymous label in 2009, which is also when he began joining forces with MAC for the beauty side of his runway equation. "This is the first time MAC is doing a collaboration at such a luxe level, and we thought it was perfect because it's so intimate," Gurung explains in his regal South-Asian-meets-British accent. Yikes! Your obviously have to be careful when trying on makeup, especially lipstick. One Rihanna fan learned that in the worst imaginable way possible. While attending RiRi's Diamonds World Tour concert at Brooklyn's Barclay's Center, Starkeema Greenidge, was approach by a Mac Cosmetics rep and invited to try RiRi Woo, unbeknowest to Greenidge the lipstick was tainted with the herpes virus.
