The Atlanta NAACP made a call on Monday to remove Confederate symbols from Stone Mountain, a park in Georgia. They said that the massive Confederate Memorial Carving, which is a carving of Jefferson Davis, Robert E. The NAACP statement on the matter reads: "The NAACP has released the following statement regarding an ongoing investigation into an explosion near the Colorado Springs branch. "No injuries were reported in what is believed to be an explosion near the Colorado Springs NAACP branch located on the 600 block of S. El Paso St. The cause of the explosion is still unknown.
