Black Monday: Tom Coughlin's State With NY Giants

By Joseph Trezza | Dec 29, 2014 01:28 PM EST

It seems like we go through this every year: The New York Giants underachieve and almost every local talking head with a mouthpiece goes to bat for coach Tom Coughlin, citing his competitive spirit, ability to rally the troops and ever-distant playoff success. And Coughlin is always spared. According to ESPN, it's déjà vu in 2014 as Coughlin was told he'll remain with the club for another season. The Giants finished 6-10 this season, their second losing campaign in a row. They missed the playoffs for the third straight season and at one point lost seven games in a row. Coughlin, 68, is one of only 13 coaches to win at least two Super Bowls. He led the Giants over the undefeated New England Patriots in 2007 and then the Giants again in 2011, when they defeated the Patriots again. And yet after every championship season, the Giants start the whole thing over from scratch. They haven't made the playoffs since the last win, but that's enough capitol for Coughlin to keep his gig. Odell Beckham Jr. & LeBron James: NFL Star Better Sporting Icon Than NBA Star?

By Kenneth Brown | Dec 04, 2014 03:05 PM EST

When Odell Beckham Jnr made his famous one-handed catch, LeBron James tweeted his admiration, which shocked and pleased Odell. Now the two have met, making Odell a very happy man. As James closes in on the end of his career, and Odell's is just beginning, one can wonder, could Odell achieve more in the NFL than James has in the NBA, or will their new friendship be as close as he gets to that stature? He's received a lot of praise lately, but can he handle the heat? Read More »

Odell Beckham Jr Reactions 'Catch Of The Century' - Beats Kim Kardashian In 'Breaking The Internet': LeBron James, Victor Cruz, Richard Sherman, Chris Carter, Michael Irvin React To New York Giants TD

By Jaymz Clements | Nov 24, 2014 11:00 AM EST

Did Odell Beckham Jr just take the catch of the century? Is Odell Beckham Jr. The Greatest WR Ever? [PHOTOS]

By Kenneth Brown | Nov 24, 2014 09:50 AM EST

When the New York Giants drafted Odell Beckham Jr, they knew they were getting a talented WR, and one that might possibly develop in to an elite one, but they've received much more than they bargained for. Beckham has been one of the stand-out rookies this season, and his breathtaking one-handed TD catch against the Dallas Cowboys has only added to his growing reputation. Isaiah Crowell And Josh Gordon Deliver For Cleveland Browns

By Kenneth Brown | Nov 23, 2014 05:32 PM EST

Josh Gordon is back, the real (starter) Isaiah Crowell and Brian Hoyer are ready to rumble and they've just — perhaps luckily — beaten the Atlanta Falcons with a last-second field goal. Gordon has served his 10-game ban and he started the game well, and finished well, proving he had no "rust" from his long suspension. Crowell is now the No. 1 running back and Hoyer is still the quarterback and will remain so while he finds ways to win. It might not have been their best performance, but the Browns's boys have won again, and many are comparing them to the Super Bowl-winning New York Giants in recent memory. But can Cleveland go that far? Crowell is their new secret weapon. He never expected the NFL life to come so easy this season, but now Ben Tate is gone and he's the main man. This all fell in to the week where he was visiting Atlanta, where most of his family is based. Could he impress? He did just that, getting two touchdowns and proving that the Browns have a legitimate threat at RB. Read More »

By Kenneth Brown | Nov 17, 2014 10:04 AM EST

Both brothers Peyton Manning and Eli Manning had nights they won't want to remember in a hurry, but could they both walk away from the NFL, or just their teams after this season? The stars have helped the Denver Broncos and the New York Giants for a long, long time, but reports have suggested that Peyton's ready to retire, while Eli is ready to seek a new team. What should the (currently) miserable Manning brothers do? Read More »

Victor Cruz Replaced By Odell Beckham Jr?

By Kenneth Brown | Oct 21, 2014 03:12 PM EDT

The New York Giants may well have to get used to life without Victor Cruz, but Eli Manning and co. will have the services of top rookie WR Odell Beckham Jr, who has had an impressive start to his NFL career to say the least. Cruz will miss the rest of the season, but the Giants aren't giving up their Super Bowl dreams, and instead they've expressed their belief that Beckham can more than replace their star receiver, stating it being his rookie season doesn't matter.
