According to a new report from Radar Online, Mel Gibson is one actor being sought for a role in the upcoming Marvel blockbuster The Avengers: Age of Ultron. Sony Crackle has launched an original concert series, "Playing It Forward," with street performance-style documentary episodes. The series is produced by Team Downey (founded by Robert Downey Jr. and Susan Downey) and will have surprise street shows from huge artists in environments across the U.S., all to benefit music education and artist-chosen charities. But Don Cheadle took over the role in Iron Man 2 and Iron Man 3, in which Rhodes became Iron Man's sidekick War Machine and, in the third film, Iron Patriot. When Terrence Howard signed on for 2008's blockbuster hit Iron Man as Col. James Rhodes, he was offered more money than the other actors, which later led to him not being offered a role in the sequels. When offered a pay cut for the sequel, Howard refused and Don Cheadle replaced him.
