Earlier today, it was reported that Saturday Night Live veteran Jan Hooks passed away in New York at the age of 57 – according to The Hollywood Reporter. Hooks first joined the SNL cast back in 1986 and played a number of notable characters. More recently, she was seen as Verna Maroney on the former NBC hit 30 Rock.
