Netflix is stepping up their game in the comedy department, readers. After releasing the uber successful Tina Fey, Robert Carlock-led Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt – starring the one and only Ellie Kemper – word has it that the streaming service has hired Unviersal's VP of Comedy Andrew Weil to oversee their comedy just under Jane Wiseman. Deadline is reporting on the new Netflix hire, stating that Weil was a mere 27-years-old when he was brought aboard Uni TV. He came to the team back in 2011 and help fine-tune Fox's hit Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Before that, he was a main go-to over at BermanBraun. Read More »

Folks, it doesn't have to be Christmas time for you to head to New York City and see the famed Rockettes in action. The organizers over at the iconic Radio City Music Hall have put together the New York Spring Spectacular––which stars the likes of Derek Hough, Laura Benanti, Lenny Wolpe and Jared Grimes in an all-out love letter to New York City. If you're in the tri-state area, you'll know it already from those ever-so catchy commercials featuring Taylor Swift's "Welcome to New York." The limited engagement is reportedly going to run from March 26 through May 3, with preview performances beginning March 12. And it's just been announced that the show is amping up the star power with the likes of 50 Cent, Tina Fey, Kelly Ripa and Amy Poehler, who will all be joining in on the fun via video and voice cameos! Last night’s episode of CONAN was undoubtedly hilarious, but perhaps the funniest segment came during host Conan O’Brien’s “Coffee Table Books That Didn’t Sell” segment. If you haven’t seen the bit, it’s pretty self-explanatory –– O’Brien sits next to sidekick Andy Richter and the two go through some coffee table books that were rejected upon publication. And while last night’s segment held a number of funny pieces – including Stoned Horses – the best of all was the book Careful of the Coz!, which, naturally, had something to do with comedian Bill Cosby and those rape allegations being flung around from all different angles … too many actually. The bit came just days after Golden Globes 2015 hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler made a hilarious joke at the famed Cosby Show star’s expense and about a week after O’Brien gave a heartwarming speech about the Charlie Hebdo Tragedy in Paris. It looks like Amy Poehler and Tina Fey had such a great time hosting last year’s Golden Globe awards, they had to do it again. Or, they had a contract with NBC and were pretty much required to. Either way, we’re uber excited to see the two former Saturday Night Live players back together again for yet another hosting gig.
