David Beckham may be following in his wife Victoria Beckham's footsteps as he and business partner Simon Fuller have settled into a new venture with Global Brands. Alexander Wang is touching down in London. The brand plans to open its first UK shop on Albemarle Street in Mayfair by early 2015. It's the first European outpost for the designer, who already has stores in Tokyo, Beijing and New York. Wang will join brands including Paul Smith, Amanda Wakeley, Buccellati and Garrard & Co. on the street, which is fast evolving into a retail hotspot. According to BBC, it praised her "finely tuned business acumen" for expanding her fashion empire into a business with a $48 million turnover and a staff of 100.
