Bollywood hunk Hrithik Roshan is currently in bed rest after his accident on the sets of Mohenjo Daro. After wrapping  Ashutosh Gowariker's period drama film, he will start shooting for Sanjay Gupta's action-romantic film, Kaabil with Yami Gautam. A recent report suggests that the story of Kaabil is inspired by Salman Khan's unreleased film, Buland.

Ever since Gupta announced that he is working with Roshan in Kaabil, several news has swirled around it. First, it was reported by Times of India that model-turned-actor, Sudhanshu Pandey, alleged that his original script, Farmayish, was stolen by Gupta and he has re-titled it to Kaabil. Now, new reports suggest that the story of Kaabil is inspired by Khan's unreleased feature film Buland.

According to a report from DNA India, in the 1990s, Khan and Somu Ali worked together on a film titled Buland. The story followed a revenge dramaabout a girl who gets raped and murdered. Then the boy (Khan) avenges her death and in the process, he loses his vision. The film was 80 percent completed but because of the film's over budget, the project was shelved.

On the other hand, the story of Kaabil will revolve around a couple who are very much in love, but the boy's life takes a drastic turn when his love interest is murdered. In the process, to avenge her death, Roshan's character will also become blind.

Recently the Bang-Bang actor took to Twitter to announce his collaboration with Gautam and Gupta for Kaabil. Trade analyst, Taran Adarsh also revealed via his Twitter handle that the production team of Kaabil is thinking to finish the shooting in just three months. So, there are chances that by the end of July, fans will get to see Kaabil. Only fans and time will decide whether the plot of Kaabil is similar to the plot of Buland.
