WGN America continues with the premiere their new original series, Outsiders. In episode 6, entitled Weapons, Big Foster (David Morse) and Little Foster (Ryan Hurst) are trying to defend their mountaintop homestead before the outside world takes it away from them.

With one of their members shot in the leg, Lady Ray Farrell (Phyllis Somerville) is furious with Asa (Joe Anderson) and Big Foster. Since they were caught trespassing, the mountaintop is now in a heat of trouble. What's worse, the townspeople have guns and they're not afraid to use them. Though Asa accepts the blame, Big Foster isn't worried because they messed around with their construction equipment.

G'Winn Farrell (Gillian Alexy) discovers Big Foster has a bigger plan as he aims to steal guns. Worried for Little Foster,  G'Winn tries to convince Asa to get involved, but he won't budge. Asa refuses to help G'Winn, but this isn't about them.

We discover that Sheriff Wade Houghton (Thomas J. Wright)'s father tried to bring in peace with the Farrell Clan. On a hot summer day, without a cloud in the sky, Wade's father gets struck by lightning. Since then, people have started to believe that the Farrell Clan have something unnatural and unholy about them.

After arguing with his sister over his son's mental health, Wade arrives at the murder that Little Foster committed. The dead body has been discovered by a neighbor because of its horrible smell. Wade tries to coverup the murder, saying it was a heart attack, but the neighbor swears she heard a gunshot.

Asa takes a step further with his plans as he sneaks his way inside the corporate executive's home. After Asa threatens his life, the executive relays the message back to his superior. Showing tremendous fear of the Farrells, the executive gets himself fired.

Hasil (Kyle Gallner)' asks Sally-Ann (Christina Jackson) why she left him after they had sex. Knowing her brother despises him, Sally-Ann tries to hurt Hasil's feelings. The whole town is watching Sally-Ann as she attempts to break his heart. Sally-Ann's plans backfires because Hasil knows she doesn't mean them.

Trying to make amends, Hasil meets Sally-Ann's brother and tries to smooth things over. A fight ensues between them, with Sally-Ann getting slapped around. Hasil promises that if Sally-Ann's brother ever touches her again, that will be the end of him. Unfortunately, after Hasil makes his threat, he cannot find Sally-Ann anywhere.

Little Foster and Bg Foster stumble upon an unexpected shootout at the gun shop. Running out of bullets, Big Foster looks like he is about to give up until Wade suddenly shows up. Big Foster leads the others to escape while Wade gets the shooting to abruptly stop.

Wade and the Deputy end up chasing after the Farrells into the forest. Just when the Deputy lose track of the clan, Wade slows down and turns around. Wade accidentally crashes into the Farrell member, killing him on the spot.

Wade uncomfortably stares at the dead body, knowing he is a bad spot.
