WGN America Outsiders Episode 7: Decomp of a Stuck Pig Ryan Hurst, David Morse Premiere Recap

WGN America continues with the premiere their new original series, Outsiders. In episode 7, entitled Decomp of a Stuck Pig, Big Foster (David Morse) and Little Foster (Ryan Hurst) are trying to defend their mountaintop homestead before the outside world takes it away from them.

With one of their members missing, Lady Ray Farrell (Phyllis Somerville) is furious with Big Foster. No one came back with guns, but one of the Farrells is dead. Asa (Joe Anderson) was as Hasil (Kyle Gallner) says he saw a dead body before. The Farrells surround Big Foster before putting him inside the cell. 

G'Winn Farrell (Gillian Alexy)wants to know from Asa what the hell went wrong. Asa got involved like she asked and made a call to the gun shop. Unfortunately, that means Asa is responsible for their cousin being dead. Asa promises to make things and bring back his cousin's dead body.  

Sheriff Wade Houghton (Thomas J. Wright) has to cover up the murder and asks a hooker to lie for him. The hooker comes up with a big fat lie to the police and sticks to her story. After Wade asks drugs from her, the prostitute says no; they're even now. 

Wade's foolproof plan all of a sudden backfires on him. While Asa asks Wade to help him claim the body, Big Foster reveals to Little Foster that he has been setup. Little Foster then confronts G'Winn about what she knew about the heist. Covering up for Asa, G'Winn accepts the blame and says she's responsible for their cousin's death. Because he loves G'Winn, Little Foster will cover up for her and keep her secret safe. 

During their car ride together, the more Wade tries to cover-up the crime, the more Asa suspects  he's not telling the truth. Wade is haunted by the dead body in the trunk; knowing he's to blame. After Wade almost crashes the truck, Asa steps in and gets behind the wheel. 

Lady Ray explains to G'Winn that she made a mistake. At first, she thought Asa was the chosen one in the prophecy. But there is too much hate and anger inside Asa. Lady Ray believes it is G'Winn who will save her clan from the outside world.  

With Little Foster pretending to be him in the cage, Big Foster visits Lady Ray one lat time. Big Foster puts his boot on Lady Ray's frail body and drowns her in the tub. After she dies, Big Foster covers her naked body with clothing. 

With so much guilt on his conscience, Wade reveals to Asa that he's responsible. Confessed to his cousin's murder, Asa grabs Wade and threatens him to stay away. Asa comes back home to even more bad news, finding Lady Ray on her bed dead.

With Lady Ray dead, the Farrells kneel down before Big Foster, who is now their king.
