Not even death can stop the Sith Lord Darth Maul (played by Ray Park) from getting his his own prequel series. Because just about everyone from Star Wars deserves to get their own show on Netflix, the Episode 1: Phantom Menace villain will take you to a galaxy far,far away!

In the Star Wars mythology, episode 1 introduced Darth Maul, who happens to be Darth Sidious' first apprentice. Quite possibly the best part of The Phantom Menace, Darth Maul had a three-way fight scene with Qui-Gon (Liam Nesson) and Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor). Darth Maul handed their butts to them and just for fun, he killed Qui-Gon in front of Obi-Wan. In their second round, Obi-Wan cut him in half with his lightsaber; talk about revenge.

Just like in comic books, death never seems to stop anybody in Star Wars. The Sith Lord continued to be a recurring antagonist in Star Wars: The Clone Wars (voiced by Samuel Witwer) and appeared in the recent season finale of Star Wars Rebels (voiced by Witwer again). Possibly using the same stunts people from Daredevil, everyone is kung-fu fighting in the footage.

Released on IGN, Netlix has released their live-action version of a Star Wars prequel. Will viewers root for the bad guy? Darth Maul appears to be kicking butt and jabbing everyone who stands in his way with his red double-bladed lightsaber. The reworking title of the show appears to be Star Wars: Fury of Maul.

Even Masahable asks, "It's the golden age of reboots you didn't want. So why wouldn't the Star Wars franchise go ahead and make a Darth Maul standalone show?"

READERS: Please do not take this news report seriously. In celebration of April 1st, this is a fake news report. For the love of God, please don't put too much thought into this. APRIL FOOLS!

Sadly, there will be no Star Wars spinoff series on Netflix.

Readers, would you like to see a Darth Maul series on Netflix?
