Game of Thrones S06E03: Oathbreaker Maisie Williams, Kit Harington Premiere Recap

HBO continues with the premiere of the acclaimed Season 6 of Game of Thrones. In episode 3, Oathbreaker, Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) and Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) fight for control and power in author George R.R. Martin's ongoing epic saga.

Davos Seaworth (Liam Cunningham) stares in awe at a naked Jon Snow alive and breathing. He remembers being stabbed to death. Melisandre (Carice van Houten) knew Jon would come back for a reason. Davos wants him to fight and clean up the mess, but Jon knows he failed.

The remaining loyalists witness Jon walking around; a god returned from the dead. Gilly and Sam are in a boat riding the waves of a storm. They're heading to the most beautiful city of Westeros. Gill sees Sam as the father of her son.

Elsewhere,  Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) is on another vision quest. He watches as his father, a young Ned Stark, goes on a mission. Young Ned Stark fights against a group of knights and wins the battle as the last man standing.

Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) is stripped of her clothing and meets with their queen. Se was forbidden to go out into the work. Lord Varys (Conleth Hill) meets with Valla, a faithful member of the Sons of Harpee. Various promises to keep her son safe and offers a ship to freedom if she gives up information. 

Varys tells Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage)he has found the person who has funded the Sons of Harpee. Tyron now has to decide when to strike back. Cersei (Lena Headey) and Jamie (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau)are setting up their own plans of vengeance against the High Sparrow. Olenna Tyrell (Diana Rigg) has to get involved now in order to get Margery back. 

The King meets with the High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce), discussing Cersei's atonement. Arya continues her training, getting knocked down over and over again. She learns how to use her senses, block using her staff, and gives up the names on her list. Aya has learned how to jump and block using her bo.

Jaqen H'ghar (Tom Wlaschiha) hands Arya something to drink and gives her eyesight back. Ramsay (Iwan Rheon) contines with the story that his father as poisoned but no one believes him. The Wildings are coming and led by Jon Snow. Ramsay now has Rickon Stark in his hands. 

Jon Snow has to give judgement to those who betrayed him. The traitors, including Thorne, all have their necks tied to to a noose. Throne would do it all over again if he could; he fought and lost. He can rest buy Jon will continue fighting. Jon shows no mercy as he lets the traitors hang.

Jon then gives his title and Castle Black to his friend. His watch has ended. Jon leaves the others and heads straight into the darkness.
