On Tuesday, funny-man Louis C.K. launched what was originally supposed to be a six-city, a 12-show standup comedy tour in Baltimore. The 48-year-old comedian has extended the dates into a much larger World Comedy Tour, which will officially launch in July, hitting 22 cities before wrapping in New York City in September.

The tour, which will feature all new material, will hit major venues like the Los Angeles Forum as well as Madison Square Garden. According a report from Consequence of Sound, more dates are expected to be announced through the month of December. The trek includes dates overseas with shows in London, Dublin, Paris and Jerusalem.

Tickets to see Louis C.K. are officially on sale, and for this tour, the comedian has made an effort to keep tickets out of the hands of scalpers. In fact, tickets are priced at $50 or less and without fees, and Louis has provided a ticket contact email (Lcktix16@gmail.com), so that fans wanting to get rid of tickets can ensure they avoid ticket reselling sites.

Regardless of his efforts, tickets have hit the secondary market. Resale tickets haven't hit astronomical prices yet, but some dates at least double the primary ticket prices. For Louis' May 19 stop in Asbury Park, New Jersey, the cheapest ticket was priced at $174, and his September 8 stop at MSG in New York City has a get-in price of $110, according to data provided by ticket aggregator TiqIQ.

The comedian's May 31st stop in Chicago is listed as the priciest resale tickets, since the get-in is currently up for grabs for $225. Fans traveling into the city can secure parking in Chicago ahead of time through Parkwhiz.com, where parking starts for as low as $7.

All proceeds from Louis' Greensboro, North Carolina show will go to Equality NC, a statewide organization dedicated to securing equality and justice for the LGBT community.
