Half a year after Lady Gaga earned a Golden Globe for her amazing performance as the Countess in American Horror Story: Hotel, information about Season 6 of the Ryan Murphy show remains practically nonexistent. This week, finally, there's news: Cheyenne Jackson is returning and there's a new logo for the season!

After fans wondered for months if the actor, who last season played Will Drake, would return to the show, Jackson himself took to Twitter to confirm the news. This will be his second season on the anthology series because he, along with Lady Gaga, débuted on Hotel. Before that, some of his best known projects included Behind the Candelabra and the 9/11 drama, United 93.

So far, he's one of only a handful of actors who have said they're returning to the show: There's him, Gaga, Angela Bassett and Evan Peters. As Variety reports, months back, AHS co-creator Murphy asked the entire cast to return for the upcoming season, but it seems they might be working on contracts, and it's unclear even if show regular Sarah Paulson will be part of the upcoming season.

If she is, the actress will be pretty busy, as she'll presumably be part of the cast of another Ryan Murphy show, American Crime Story. In the show's first season, The People vs. O.J. Simpson, the Emmy-nominated actress played iconic prosecutor Marcia Clark.

Last Tuesday, even more news regarding Season 6 of American Horror Story came to the public: through FX's social media, the studio released the first logo for the new season, as the title remains a mystery -- so much so that the AHS logo so far is a combination of the number 6 and a question mark.

Filming for the new season has already begun, but so far there's no news regarding the theme. According to The Inquisitr, some of the theories so far include something about children, as Murphy teased months back that there could be something about the innocence of children.

The idea that the season will be somehow related to children is pretty broad, and it could include potential scenarios as varied as a boarding school, summer camp, orphanage or even children's beauty pageants, because let's face it, it doesn't take much to make Toddlers and Tiaras terrifying.

Other theories have included the debunked one that the season would revolve around Internet legend Slender-Man, but everything's a guess at this point.

We should expect the new AHS season some time this fall.
