Starcraft 2: Nova Covert Ops third pack all set for November release

Starcraft 2: Nova Covert Ops' third mission pack is coming out before November ends. Blizzard announced the release during the opening ceremony of BlizzCon 2016 last Nov 4th.

The third mission pack will follow the events set on the second pack. As iTech Post reports, Nova and her team will be dealing with the aftermath of Emperor Valerian leaving the throne of the Terran Dominion. The three-mission campaign will follow their exploits as the secure the future of the Dominion. This mission pack will serve as the conclusion to the story of Nova and the Covert Ops.

Another announcement Blizzard made during the two-day event was the introduction of a new commander for the Co-Op Missions. Alexei Stukov, a former vice-admiral of the Terran forces that became infested and currently under the Zerg, is now the newest commander to join the fray. PC Gamer notes that the he will be leading infested units and structures, and will be using unorthodox tactics to overwhelm his adversaries.

The Nova Covert Ops is a series of nine single-player missions for Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty. Available as Downloadable Content (or DLC), it is divided into three mission packs, each containing three missions. Each pack is priced at $7.49, but there is an option to pre-purchase the whole set for $14.99. Those who purchased the first mission pack, however, would not be eligible for the bundle price anymore. The pre-purchase also provides the player with a Nova portrait as well as a ghost skin based from the Covert Ops.

While the skin could be obtained after finishing all nine missions, the Nova portrait is strictly a pre-purchase exclusive. The first of the three mission packs came out on March 29th 2016, while the second pack was released on August 2nd. The final mission pack is scheduled for a November 22nd release.
