Retailers to offer great deals for XboxOne S on Black Friday

The Xbox One S, Microsoft's representative in the console wars, will be enjoying several deals this Black Friday. While most retailers would have the same price point for the console, some may add additional freebies to entice buyers to their side.

Based on what VG247 has on its list, retailers will have the 500GB version of the Xbox One S priced at around $249. Costco, BJ's and Best Buy will be offering the game Minecraft along with the console, while Kohl's will be giving out an additional $75 coupon on top of the game. Walmart has theirs bundled with Battlefield 1 for the same price, while for $30 more, buyers can get the console with a Minecraft game and a second controller, at $279.

Sam's Club gives shoppers a choice of either Battlefield 1 or Minecraft, along with an extra controller. Sam's also has a Battlefield 1 bundle, which comes with a second controller and a second game for $299. Dell, for $250, offers the console with Battlefield 1, Gears of War 4 and a second controller through their online store. And for $319.99, EBay offers the console with Battlefield 1, Call of Duty Infinite and Gears of War 4.

As for the 1TB Xbox One S, BJ's and Best Buy are bundling the console with Battlefield 1 for $299.99. Shopko might be giving a better offer, though, as it adds $100 in coupons on top of the Gears of War 4 that is going with the console for $299.99.

US Gamer notes that a lot of games for the console will be receiving some price cuts as well, ranging from 25 percent to sixty percent discount. Some accessories will be on sale too, like controllers and headsets.

Black Friday is scheduled on November 25^th this year. Some retailers may have their respective promotions run earlier or longer than the 25^th.

The Xbox One S is the latest console to come out of tech giant Microsoft's ranch. It sports a sleeker, slimmer look compared to the original, as well as having improved performance. The console supports High Dynamic Range (or HDR) visuals, and is compatible for 4K resolution, provided that the television set runs on 4K as well. While the Xbox One S may not be performing as well as the Playstation 4 in sales, things might turn up for the console after the Black Friday rush.
