Elton John will not play when Donald Trump is sworn in

Legendary Grammy award winner Elton John will not play at Donald Trump's inauguration in Washington, on January 20. The English singer performed at a Clinton Rally in October and it appears that Elton is a huge supporter of Hillary Clinton.

According to ET Online, Elton told the crowd at his performance stating that "We need a humanitarian in the White House, not a barbarian."

Anthony Scaramucci, the vice chair of the presidential inaugural committee stated that Elton would be performing a concert and his participation represented Donald Trump's dedication to LGBT rights. Despite the reports Elton confirmed that he will not appear to perform at Trump's inauguration.

This would turn out to be the first US president in history that would enter the White House with a pro gay right stance as per Entertainment Weekly. Elton even performed some of his greatest hits for Hillary Clinton during the 2016 campaign in March.

Post the confirmation on Elton not appearing for the inauguration, it seems like Trump supporters took to social media stating that why would they ask a hysterical Hillary supporter to play for Trump. While others also asked, is there any scarcity of Americans that they can't play at this inauguration?

Now that Elton will not be playing the next in line will possibly be an American artist. However, the Anti-Trump fans have stated that even in America some of the artists will not play for Trump. Surely artists like Katy Perry, Jenifer Lopez and Mark Anthony will not appear, Britney Spears is also on the list as these were all supporters of Hillary Clinton.

There will be a well known artist appearing for the inauguration and it will be confirmed soon, but it is sure that Elton John will not play when Donald Trump is sworn in. Trump on the other hand has a lot of artists who have also supported him or else he would not have possibly won the election.
