It's been six years since "Supernatural" actors Jared Padelecki and Genevieve Cortese married and with baby no. 3 underway, the couple is going strong as ever. The two met on the set of the show in 2008 where Padelecki was the main star. Cortese was cast in the show as a guest star but her character was killed off after several episodes. However, instead of going their separate ways, the two had a whirlwind romance instead.

Padelecki and Cortese were married in 2010 after the actor proposed to the actress at the New York Metropolitan Museum. The couple currently has two children and is living in Texas and Padelecki recently announced that they will be having their third child in March 2017. The pregnancy news was revealed when Padelecki announced it on "Live With Kelly" this week. According to E News, Cortese was also there during the announcement smiling at the news.

The "Gilmore Girls" alum revealed that in his version of the romance between him and his wife, it was Cortese who was adamant in dating him. Padelecki added that her initial description of Cortese was that she was intelligent and a great lover of books. Refinery 29 reports that the duo had gone to lunch and then had dinner and the time spent ultimately sealed their relationship.

Padelecki plays Sam Winchester with co-star Jensen Ackles who plays his onscreen brother Dean Winchester in the CW hit series "Supernatural." It was also reported earlier this year that Ackles and his wife Danneel Harris will also be having twins alongside their three-year-old daughter, Justice.

Netflix's "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" returned on air again and Padelecki had a brief scene as Dean Forrester, the first boyfriend of Rory Gilmore portrayed by Alexis Bledel. In the three episodes worth of the mini-series, Padelecki was only shown a few minutes together with Bledel and it was reported that the scene was a needed closure for both characters.

"Supernatural" first aired in 2005 and is currently on its 12th season this year.
