Many fans were obviously disappointed when "Rick & Morty" Season 3 failed to surprise their TV screens for the year-end holidays. However, Adult Swim made the fans smile again as they released a new sneak peek. But does the teaser send a message that it is the end for Rick?

The anticipated TV series by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon's "Rick and Morty" has successfully increased the hyped among its fans by releasing some raw animated footage for its upcoming episode. The show runners decided to release a teaser trailer for the first episode but still leaving suspicions for its official release date.

From the teaser, many fans speculated that it may be the end of Rick. Many reasoned out that Rick looks shaken with their latest caper that would eventually end Morty's adventure.

The footage was reportedly revealed during a live stream of a development conference with a guest writer. It was previously shared by the showrunners that the entire third season of "Rick and Morty" is prepared with a complete script; however the production team encountered some delays due to animation issues, according to Animation Magazine.

It was rumored that only one episode has been successfully completed. The "Rick and Morty" Season 3 is not expected to be aired until spring this year. On the brighter side, instead of the expected 10 episodes for this season, "Rick and Morty" Season 3 will have 14 episodes.

Meanwhile, here are other details on what to expect on "Rick and Morty" Season 3. First, it was revealed that "Rick and Morty" will be possibly going to Hawaii. Harmon excitedly stated that "It's time to demand that the network allows us to draw the characters going to Hawaii."

Second, the co-creator had teased the pending premiere date during a panel at Magic City Comic Con, expressing that the production crew is "targeting around the end of this year." It was also announced that the plot series may be diverse as Harmon revealed that they hired a bunch of writers.
