A few more weeks and our beloved thriller show "Bates Motel" will come back with its fifth and finale. The trailer for Season 5 was released earlier this year and it unveils what Norman Bates (Freddie Highmore) is up to.

The trailer featured a walk-through in Norman's house, Norma Bates calls out Norman for dinner, and Norma Bates' corpse wearing a tiara. Even though the trailer didn't reveal a lot of details regarding the plot and storyline; it could give us a hint that Season 5 will serve ultimate chills to the bone.

According to Deadline, "Bates Motel" Season 5 will continue the life of Norman Bates at White Pine Bay Community two years after the death of his mother, Norma Bates (Vera Farmiga). Norman is all grown-up now, but that doesn't make him appear more normal. Instead, he looks worse than ever, struggles to live a double life as his 'mother' attempts to take over his mind. A lot of fans are expecting too much for this finale season, especially how it will connect to "Psycho", a 1960 film which the show is based on.

According to Latin Post News, Emma Decody (Olivia Cooke) and Dylan Masset (Max Thierot), who now live happily after leaving White Pine Bay Community, are not aware of Norma's death, while Norman slowly turns his insanity into psychotic behavior. Meanwhile, Alex Romero (Nestor Carbonell) is hungry for revenge for the death of his beloved Norma Bates and eager to destroy his stepson. To find out how the series will end, tune in A&E on February, 20 for Season 5 of "Bates Motel".

New characters are coming to the show. "The Walking Dead" star, Austin Nichols, who previously was known as Spencer, will play the role of Sam Loomis. Nichols' character is described as a newcomer to White Pine Bay Community. He's a charismatic and mysterious person who antagonizes Norman the minute he crosses paths with him.
